Ticked Box Creatives is a Visual Arts Company set up in 2016 by Company Director Shane Kenny-Costello.

Shane Kenny-Costello is an artist, photographer and performer. His practice is mainly based within the mediums of painting, drawing and photography however he has experimented with sculpture, the archive and printmaking.

For a while, conceptual art took over his practise however he always comes back to producing works relating to his daily life or childhood, particularly iconic imagery which he feels resonates deeply with a lot of people as they will be able to recognise the subject of the piece also.

Aside from personal projects, Shane has been commissioned by independent clients and he has also had the opportunity to work for companies such as Five Star Theatre, Big Help Music, Rugby Theatre and Ashlawn School among others.

Outside of art and photography, he is a keen performer and has had credits in musical theatre and plays on top of gigs as a solo performer and with the Strawhouse Singers with whom he has sang with Britain’s Got Talent’s Jonathan Antoine and Mary-Jess Leaverland, winner of the Chinese X-Factor and singer of the Downton Abbey theme.
